Parkland Burn Formula
Estimates the volume of crystalloid (lactated Ringer's) required during the first 24 hours following a major burn. Half is delivered in the first 8 hours from the time of injury; the remainder over the next 16 hours.
Use rule of nines or Lund–Browder chart. Exclude superficial (1st-degree) burns.
