Mechanism

Recombinant human TNF-receptor p75–Fc fusion protein that competitively binds soluble and membrane TNF-alpha (and lymphotoxin-alpha), neutralising TNF-driven inflammatory cascades in immune-mediated disease.

Dosing

Adult
50 mg SC once weekly (or 25 mg SC twice weekly); psoriasis may start 50 mg twice weekly for 12 weeks.
Pediatric
JIA (≥2 y): 0.8 mg/kg SC weekly (max 50 mg/week).
Renal adjustment
No dose adjustment required.
Hepatic adjustment
No specific adjustment; screen/monitor hepatitis B.
Geriatric
No dose change; greater infection risk — monitor.
Max dose
50 mg/week maintenance (100 mg/week initial psoriasis)
