Mechanism
Inotuzumab ozogamicin is a humanized anti-CD22 antibody-cytotoxic drug conjugate. After binding to CD22-positive tumor cells and cellular uptake, the cytotoxic ozogamicin is released via hydrolytic cleavage. Ozogamicin binds to the minor groove in DNA, induces double-strand breaks, and causes cell death.
