Mechanism
An opium alkaloid of the benzoisoquinoline series. It depresses cough but has no narcotic, analgesic or dependence inducing properties.
Indications
Depresses coughEspecially useful in spasmodic cough

- 2–6 years 7.5 mg, 6–12 years 15 mg
