Mechanism
Irreversible activator of S1PRs, causing irreversible downregulation of S1P signaling, thereby reducing the egress of lymphocytes from lymphoid tissue and disrupting the targeting of circulating lymphocytes to the CNS. Interacts with high affinity only at S1P1R, the S1PR found on lymphocytes and endothelial cells.
