Mechanism
This adjuvanted recombinant subunit vaccine contains recombinant VZV glycoprotein E in combination with a novel adjuvant (AS01B) to induce a robust immune response and prevent herpes zoster (shingles).
Indications
prevention of herpes zoster (shingles) in adults aged 50 years or older
Dosing
- Adult
- two intramuscular doses, administered 2 to 6 months apart
