Mechanism

BBV152/Covaxin contains coronavirus inactivated with β-propiolactone. This allows the viral proteins to remain intact and be presented by antigen-presenting cells (APCs), leading to an immune response.

Dosing

Adult: injected in two doses 2 days apart
