Mechanism

Belantamab mafodotin is a humanized IgG1 targeted to B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) and conjugated to the cytotoxic monomethyl auristatin F (MMAF). Upon binding to BCMA, it is internalized and MMAF is released, which binds to tubulin, disrupts the microtubule network, and causes cell death.

Indications

relapsed or refractory MMRelapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (after 4 prior lines of therapy)

Side effects

Serious
