Mechanism
Choriogonadotropin alfa is recombinant HCG (rHCG). Its actions are similar to human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), binding to the LH receptor to induce preovulatory swelling, ovulation, and sustain the corpus luteum.
Indications
Replaces urine derived HCG for ovulation induction and other HCG uses
