Mechanism

Copanlisib is an inhibitor of PI3Kα and PI3Kδ isoforms that are expressed in malignant B cells. The efficacy of copanlisib has been linked to inhibition of nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) signaling and reduced release of interleukin (IL)-6 and IL-10.
