Mechanism

While its exact mechanism of action is not known, non-clinical studies indicate that Glutaraldehyde inhibits the growth of activated keratinocytes and exhibits anti-oxidative effects at the site of application.

Dosing

Adult
Apply up to 250 mg topically 3 times a day until complete clearance of warts (maximum 16 weeks).
Hepatic adjustment
Avoid in severe impairment.
Max dose
750 mg per day

  • Contact with eyes
  • Contact with lips
  • Contact with mouth
  • Contact with nostrils
  • Inflamed skin
  • Uncircumcised males (risk of phimosis)
  • Vulvar region
