Mechanism
It is a potent 5-HT3 antagonist.
Indications
chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting (CINV)postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV)diarrhoea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome
Dosing
- Adult
- For CINV: 0.3 mg i.v. before chemotherapy, repeated once daily. For low emetogenic CINV: 0.1 mg oral once daily.
