Mechanism
Inhibits Rho kinase, a protein serine-threonine kinase involved in cytoskeleton regulation. In the trabecular meshwork and canal of Schlemm, blockade of this pathway can decrease the density of actin stress fibers, augmenting outflow via the trabecular pathway.
