Mechanism
Roxatidine is an H2 blocker with pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic properties similar to ranitidine. It is twice as potent and longer acting, inhibiting gastric acid secretion by blocking H2 receptors.
Indications

Dosing
- Adult
- 150 mg at bed time or 75 mg BD; maintenance 75 mg at bed time.
