Mechanism

Calcium phosphate, as a calcium supplement, provides absorbable calcium and phosphate ions. These ions are incorporated into the bone mineral matrix, forming crystalline and amorphous calcium phosphate pools, which are the primary structural components of bone. This directly supports bone mineral accretion and the continuous process of bone turnover, leading to increased bone mineral density and skeletal integrity. Calcium also plays vital roles in nerve conduction, muscle contraction, and blood clotting.
