Monoclonal Antibody · Immunosuppressant
Guselkumab is a fully human monoclonal IgG1λ antibody that selectively binds to the p19 subunit of IL-23 with high affinity and inhibits its interaction with the IL-23 receptor. This action secondarily reduces C-reactive protein (CRP), serum amyloid A (SAA), IL-6, and Th17 effector cytokines (IL-17A, IL-17F and IL-22) in active psoriatic arthritis.
