Mechanism

Ocrelizumab works by binding CD20 on B and pre-B lymphocytes followed by antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity and complement-mediated lysis of CD20+ cells. Since this is a B cell-depleting Mab, patients should be monitored for increased risk of infection.

Dosing
