Mechanism

Risankizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody that selectively targets and binds to the p19 subunit of the IL-23 receptor complex. This binding blocks the activity of interleukin-23 and subsequently inhibits the IL-23-dependent proinflammatory effect.

Dosing

Adult
150 mg administered subcutaneously at weeks 0 and 4, and every 12 weeks thereafter. Consider discontinuation if no response after 16 weeks.
