Indications
treatment of adverse reactions to live, replicating smallpox (vaccinia virus) vaccinesevere mpox (with unclear efficacy)people who may not be able to mount a sufficiently robust immune response to clear virus in patients with severe immunocompromise
Dosing
- Adult
- Standard dose is 6000 U/kg intravenously; dosing can be repeated, and doses of up to 9000 U/kg can be used.
