Mechanism
Follitropin alfa, a recombinant form of Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (rFSH), exerts its effects through G protein-coupled receptors in reproductive tissues. In women, it stimulates estrogen secretion and follicle development. This action is crucial for fertility treatment.
