Mechanism

Dupilumab is a human IgG4 monoclonal antibody that targets the interleukin-4 (IL-4) receptor. By binding to the IL-4 receptor, it inhibits signaling pathways of both IL-4 and interleukin-13 (IL-13), which are critical cytokines in type 2 inflammation associated with allergic and inflammatory conditions.
