Mechanism

Stiripentol acts as a positive allosteric modulator of GABAA receptors. This action enhances the inhibitory effects of GABA, thereby increasing chloride ion influx and hyperpolarizing the neuron, leading to reduced neuronal excitability.

Fenfluramine
